Xinhua News Agency's overseas edition recently reported that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić inspected the Valjevo Expressway in Serbia, which was constructed by a Chinese enterprise, and announced the official opening of some sections for operation. This expressway had previously been included in the list of practical cooperation projects for the third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Forum, and TRANSINFO Technology was fortunate to participate in its construction.

During the inspection, President Vučić stated that the completion of the Valjevo Expressway will effectively improve the travel conditions for local residents and the investment environment in the areas along the route, further perfecting Serbia's transportation network and boosting the country's economic and social development.

The Valjevo Expressway, with a total length of approximately 18.3 kilometers, is designed for a speed of 100 kilometers per hour and features four lanes in both directions. It connects the cities of Valjevo and RaikoVac in the central and western parts of Serbia and connects to the Serbian E763 highway in RaikoVac. After the opening, the travel time from Valjevo to the Serbian capital, Belgrade, will be reduced to within one hour, greatly enhancing the interconnectivity and balanced development between cities and regions in Serbia, laying the foundation for Serbia to become an important logistics and transportation base in the Southeast European region.

The Valjevo Expressway was constructed to the highest European standards. TRANSINFO Technology successfully overcame differences in technical standards and cultural environments. The intelligent lighting and intelligent power supply systems it participated in constructing have now completed the power debugging and grid connection for key sections, providing a strong guarantee for the planned full opening of the expressway in June this year.
